The Merlin Gas Detector X-Range for LPG is designed to work seamlessly with the S&S Merlin range of Gas Detection Panels and Safety Systems. Featuring a semiconductor-type sensor, this detector is ideal for industrial and commercial indoor applications, offering a compact, modern, and digital design that is both aesthetically pleasing and easy to install.

• Precise Detection: Designed to be installed approximately 300mm from the ground to effectively detect LPG buildup, which accumulates from the ground up due to its dense nature.
• Low-Level Installation: Should be placed at a low level to ensure optimal detection of LPG, triggering at 10% of the lower explosion level.
• Alarm Activation: When gas levels reach the threshold, the detector activates the attached Merlin system, causing an alarm state and instant isolation of the gas valve.
• Reset Functionality: Requires finding the source of the gas buildup, clearing the detector head, and resetting the attached Merlin panel to resume normal operations.
